Fiction (children's)
Children's Art Literature — excellent means for mental development
Children's fiction is a source of wisdom, knowledge, and experience; it develops the ability to navigate complex situations. It is a unique foundation upon which all subsequent plans and aspirations to become acquainted with classical and contemporary works are built. Children's fiction is always present with a person, starting from the very first days of their life. Babies are often read fairy tales and stories, which helps to gradually introduce them to everything that surrounds them: nature, objects, and phenomena.
What does reading give?
Scientists have proven that it is precisely artistic children's literature that provides young readers with numerous undeniable advantages:
- Knowledge. Any work brings new knowledge to the young reader, and the more knowledge they acquire, the better they are able to overcome any obstacles.
- Expanding vocabulary. With each new book, a student's vocabulary grows. And the more he reads, the more meaningful and sophisticated he begins to speak, which in turn contributes to an increase in self-confidence, and thus, in the future — greater career opportunities.
- Reducing stress. If a child feels stressed, as soon as they have an illustrated children's book in their hands, they immerse themselves in the story, forget about everything, the tension disappears, and the body relaxes.
- Improving memory. While reading a novel or a story and following the plot, a student has to remember a large number of characters, their histories, feelings, and a multitude of other details.
- Calmness. Taking a volume of any work in hand, the child already relaxes, and what he reads can add to the feeling of inner peace and tranquility. This is especially relevant if the child suffers from hyperactivity and finds it difficult to calm down.
Art books for teenagers offer a wide variety of plots, genres, and formats, and with them, the source of entertainment never ends. At the same time, it is always accessible. No phone or internet is needed; just take a book in your hands, find a quiet place, and immerse yourself in reading.
What to choose to read?
Thanks to the fact that children's literature is diverse, making a choice becomes easier. If the little one cannot read yet, their parents can read aloud. Such reading allows the child to learn to listen, which is very important. By getting acquainted with books, the child learns more about their native language.
If the child knows how to read and is able to read, they can be allowed to choose a book by themselves. In the catalog, there will be:
- "Toreadors from Vasyukivka. A Trilogy about the Adventures of Two Friends" — a novel by the outstanding Ukrainian writer Vsevolod Nestayko, which showcases true friendship between the boys, describing their fun and brave antics. The boys have kind and courageous hearts, value their friendship, and are ready to do anything to save a friend from trouble.
- "Shadows of Forgotten Ancestors. Intermezzo" — works by the famous writer Mykhailo Kotsiubynskyi. This is literary fiction for high school students. The novella and short story are small in volume, depicting vivid and truthful images. They are considered the highest achievements of Ukrainian classical prose.
- "Robinson Crusoe" is a foreign children's fiction that thousands of readers still choose to buy. The work was written by the English author Daniel Defoe. Many children are captivated by this novel, and they later reread it in adulthood to recall the mysterious atmosphere that engulfs them from the very first lines.
