A developmental logic game for preschoolers that will help enrich vocabulary, teach children to correctly form possessive adjectives, develop attention, observation, memory, analytical skills, reinforce the ability to distinguish and name animals, and develop fine motor skills of the hands.
Option 1. Children are given one (or several) cards with animals that have no tails. They are asked to look at the animals, name them, and answer the question: "What is missing?" Separate cards with tails lie nearby. Children are asked to match the appropriate tail to the animal and answer the question: "Whose tail?" (lion's, hare's, etc.).
Option 2. Lay out animal cards with tails mixed up in advance. Ask the children to name the animal and its incorrect tail. (This is a monkey — it has a tiger's tail, this is a skunk — it has a mouse's tail... etc.). Suggest that the children correct the mistakes.
Option 3. Children independently look for tails for the animals and say words that answer the question: "Whose?" (lion's, tiger's, mouse's, hare's, etc.)
